Skylar enjoyed Quidditch, it was his favourite sport of all time. Soccer and cricket came in second compared to the magical game which the Hufflepuff had loved since childhood, playing with his dad on the odd occassion in the backyard. His time spent growing up in the muggle neighbourhood meant that Sky had played football at the local park, but it always seemed so dull to kick about a ball when you could be soaring on a broom.
So, when Skylar had come to Hogwarts he had made it a goal to make it onto the Quidditch team. It was one of the few things that he and his mates disagreed or fought over, due to all coming from different houses. Quidditch was one area which they all thought they were the best in, and rivalries between friends and houses sprung up into play whenever there was a game.
But today Skylar didn't bring his broom down with him to the pitch, instead just settling on laying on the grassy field on his back, staring up at the sky. It was a nice day with a few clouds dotted here and there, the breeze which blew distorting the clouds shapes. The Hufflepuff male lay there, gazing at the clouds as he tried to figure out what shapes they were making as he on the odd occassion chuckled to himself at an amusing thought.
Hearing someone approaching he rolled over onto his side briefly to glance in the direction of the sound, seeing who it was. "Oh hey Livvy," Skylar said with a grin, the girl name for his friend a joke. Sky liked to give them all girl names, it helped since his own name was always shortened to 'Sky' which was very much a girl name.
