Okay guys, this here is Mason, a mostly down to earth type guy who's really sweet and doesn't let much get past him. Currently he is the Transfiguration Professor at Hogwarts and has been so for two or three years now. When it comes to his students, he is rather lax about most of anything and lets most get away with most of anything as well. Most tend to find a liking of him though there are a few of his students who just don't approve of his teaching methods or just simple hate his class like they hate every other subject.
Friend-wise, I would imagine Mason to have a healthy number, not to many, not too little. He would never been seen as the most popular guy around due to his 'not-so-out-there' personality, but once one gets to know him they will see who he is and most likely find a liking to him. In the eyes of his friends, Mason can be seen as fun, chill, laid-back, with a few hints of sarcasm and humor just to throw into the bunch. Very rarely he will have a bit of a temper, and let me say that he isn't one who is very likely to admit he is wrong and absolutely hates it when he is. Also, if you put a drink in his hand, you will see a completely different side of him that is total opposite of his personality, if he has had enough to drink that it.
When it comes to enemies, I believe that he would have a few here and there. Some may be students who give him a hard time or hate his class or whatever, though that really isn't much of a big deal. Most enemies he would find in people who are most opposite to his personality. This may mean people who are either very depressed and always look on the bad side of things, or people who have VERY strong personalities and are very 'out there' (though most people like this he just wouldn't be able to hang about and be around, not necessarily enemies).
Mason's love-life can be a bit complicated. For the most part he believes he's homosexual, but due to his 'not-so-out-there' personality, he doesn't date much so he tends to swing either way at times. Overall I would say that he could come to love most of anyone either gender. In relationships, he is totally faithful, though is mostly prone to dating the wrong people who cheat, lie, steal, etc. and doesn't really do much to stop them even if he knows they are doing such activities.

Compared to Mason up there, Jason is just about the complete opposite. Being your typical Slytherin, he is mostly seen as arrogant, cocky, extremely sarcastic, show-off, player, and straight up rude. (Please do not get the idea that he is very snooty because he is not. He does not look down upon people in a degrading manner.) When it come to other people, he doesn't care for their feelings and can be an ass when it comes down to it. Friends would be mostly like him. He is a party boy who does like to break the rules, and do whatever he wants and his friend would do the same. I would imagine that most of his regular friend would be Slytherin, though they are not limited to just his house. Jason does have a sort of second side to him, and most people who know this side of him would say that the other most people know him by is just a front and not his true self. He does have a few true friends who know this side of him. This side of him is pleasant to be around; funny sarcastic, amusing, and a little silly at times. His close friends are not limited to any house and would be preferred to be in other houses besides his own.
Enemies would be of the plenty for him, most in other houses. Most would find a natural hate for his arrogant and cocky personality. Jason can be aggressive at times, and really he can be aggressive a lot because he is not one to back down from and challenge and certain will not take anyone else's shit either way. He has been know to fight at times, though rarely gets in trouble for it due to his family ties and the location of the fights not being around classes and teacher.
Love is mostly absent in Jason's life, though lust is certainly there. You can mostly find him sleeping around with plenty of girls, and guys, though when he does date he strictly only dates girls because most do not know that he will swing both ways when it comes down to it. He really doesn't care because pleasure is pleasure. He would have plenty of lovers and girl friends in his life, so this is definitely wide open. (I would be open to and interesting plot of him either having a long-term relationship with a girl or actually have a relationship with another guy instead of just sleeping around).
