Ellie hated this place. It smelt bad and the patients were horrid and the guards just made her feel faint. Azkaban was one place that the young healer hated being assigned to. It meant that she had to go and check up on all the inmates and make sure they were all in healthy, working order and that none were going to drop down dead. It had happened before, prisoners passing away within their cells and none were aware of the fact as the only patrols which happened around Azkaban were down by dementors and they weren't any help.
The young woman hated coming here, especially since she was usually by herself when she came, all her colleagues busy with their own work. Her boss must have it out for her, she was sure of it. It wasn't like she had done anything wrong or anything, she just hated being the one assigned to Azkaban. This was only the second time she had been and she was hoping that it would be the last. The men who she inspected all leered at her and it made her break out into a cold sweat. These people were all here for a reason afterall, who knew what they could do to her. Ellie suddenly wished she had someone else with her, anyone.
As Ellie waved her hand over the man, not daring to bring her wand into a place like this in fear of it being taken from her, Ellie began the simple task of a check up before she'd have to take a blood sample. The man she was looking over grinned at her with a blackened smile, his teeth rotting away as his face was covered in coarse stubble. "I haven't seen a pretty thing like you in so long," the man said, placing his hands on her thighs. Ellie suppressed a shiver, fighting back the urge to scream in fear. "Sir, this is inappropriate behaviour," Ellie replied, avoiding looking into coal black eyes.
"I don't see anything in appropriate babe," the man said with a cruel smirk, pushing Ellie back into her chair as his hands went to her throat before she could even scream. Despite being skilled in wandless magic, Ellie still had never thought to master non-verbal magic, and now she was regretting it. The man was holding her throat so tightly she could barely even breathe let alone utter a sound.
She hoped to god someone would come in, she pleaded for someone to barge in and save her. This was out of hand, and Ellie was soon loosing her grip of things as she felt tears spring to her eyes in fear.

It was Erik's usual visit to Azkaban; his boss had allowed him one out-building placement, and that was to see if the prisoners were being taken care of with the Dementor's at a further distance away. Right away Erik could tell there was a definate difference, mainly in how they acted when he walked down the thin, long corridor connecting one section to another to another. Without the aid of a guard, Erik still posed as a physically daunting challenge, with him having muscles he worked on, while the prisoners were weak and thin-limbed.
Erik was walking towards the back of the distaught, sea whipped building when he heard grunts and general not-normal-prisoner noises coming from a cell just a few steps off to his left. Picking up the pace, and taking his wand out of the required pocket it was supposed to be in, the dark haired honey colored eyed Auror was shocked to see who was in the prison cell, with the door half open. It was Ellie! That dirty prisoner was .... oh merlin he was touching her. "Hey! Get off of her!" Erik roared, shooting a non-harmful spell at the prisoner.
He raced to the nurse and gathered her against him, stepping backwards out of the cell and slamming the door shut with a muttered incantation. Once it was closed and locked, Erik swung around to face Ellie, both his hands reaching down to touch her face, his eyes staring intently at her. "Ellie?Ellie, are you okay? Did he do anything to you?" He asked her, a slight protective edge in his voice.

Ellie pushed at the mans' hands which seemed to tighten around her throat the more she struggled against his hold on her. He was certainly strong for someone who was holed up in a cell everyday, all day. The young woman felt her eyes widen as the man grinned down at her, the sinister smirk which adorned his features chilling her to the core. Would this be the last thing she'd ever see? A mans' haunting features twisted into a sadistic smirk, his eyes reflecting her rapidly paling face in glassy black depths. "I'm gonna have fun with you...so pretty..." th man grunted out to her as she clawed at his arms, trying to use her legs to push him back but to no avail.
Ellie felt weak and faint and being a healer she knew she would not last much longer as the oxygen which she was being deprived of was beginning to shut down her brain, and her respitory system would fail due to having missed the trigger to breathe. She'd be dead in probably 10 or so seconds she calculated, well that was certainly a thought to mull over. 10 seconds... Ellie thought about what she could have been, who she could have married, having kids, owning a house. Her future all played out before her and yet she was going to die at the hands of this raggedy man who was a criminal of some sort, someone who was already a baddie.
All of a sudden the hands were gone from her throat and Ellie sucked in the much needed air, coughing hard as she wondered what on earth happened. She could hear a voice but it sounded so distant, so far off she wondered who it could be. Feeling arms wrap around her as she was pulled against a strong chest Ellie looked up to see a familiar face. "...Erik...?" Ellie breathed out, her voice barely above a whisper as she was pulled out the door. His hands on her face were a welcoming comfort as she felt the years which had been gathering in her clear blue eyes spill forth down her cheeks. "E-Erik I was s-s-so scared," she whispered out, her hands gripping the front of his shirt to hold herself up, she was sure her knees would give way otherwise.

The man wasn't anyone Erik could recongize from anywhere; then again Azkaban could do that to people. He held Ellie tight to his chest, holding her, just wanting to keep her safe for a few more minutes. The man was yelling at them, calling Erik names that can't be repeated, although, apparently according to the man he was 'no-better-than-Merlin's-third-nipple!' That would have made him laugh if it weren't for the fact that Erik wanted to rip his head off for being disgusting towards Ellie.
Looking back at the girl, his hands still on her face, Erik saw the tears coming from her eyes and with a sigh he held her closer, hugging her to his chest as she cried. "Oh Ellie," Erik whispered, resting his chin on the top of her head. "It's okay, you're safe now. He can't get you anymore." He soothed, one of his hands clutching her close the other rubbing her back as she cried. He hated seeing people cry, they made him feel as if he had come too late.
(ooc; short, sorry D:)

Ellie had never been so terrified in her life. She had never been the one for risk taking or doing dares which could possibly cause in injury, she was a healer afterall, they don't promote hurting yourself. But this situation was making her wonder whether she was about to see her life pass before her eyes and then just slip away from this world and into the next. Maybe she would have died, but the appearance of Erik had stopped that. Ellie had never been so grateful to see the man than she did in that moment.
The taller male held her, his hand rubbing against her back as Ellie cried into his shirt. She couldn't stop the tears which were overflowing, it was like a torrential flood was pouring from her crulean eyes, her lifeline being the tight grip her hands had on Erik's shirt. "Erik..." Ellie hiccuped and sniffed, tears still leaking from her eyes as she pulled away to look up at the taller male. "Thank you," she said, a small smile, miniscule, graced her delicate features as she looked up at the taller male. She would forever be indebt to him.
She hugged him tightly around the middle, resting her cheek against his toned chest as she took in deep breaths, trying to calm herself. She inhaled Erik's smell, it was comforting. Ellie closed her eyes, trying to will her eyes to stop the tears and her hands to stop trembling so violently, the shock of the attack still not having worn off yet.
